My name is C., and I'm currently a sophomore in college. My studies are currently centered around the Russian language, Russian philology and history, Japanese history and anthropology, and International Relations; during Spring semester this year, I hope to begin my study of the Japanese language (in a remarkable development, I've postponed my plans to learn Chinese to graduate school). If it pleases you to know, I would say that my favorite authors include Charles Dickens, Natsume Sōseki, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Anton Chekhov, Don Marquis, Haruki Murakami, and Susanna Clarke, among many others. I'm also a dedicated origami enthusiast, and will be pleased to share with you the secret behind properly wet-folding an American alligator. I enjoy sketching, both on Photoshop and on paper, but I'm still very much an amateur.
